RE: DECREE OF CANONICAL ESTABLISHMENT of the PARISH OF THE LORD’S TRANSFIGURATION L&S SUBDIVISION, ANGELES CITY
Greetings in the good Lord!
Attending to the pastoral needs of the People of God concerned, considering the recommendation of the Archdiocesan Prebyteral Council and the Committe on the Establishment of Parishes, and having in mind the provision of church law, we hereby formally decree the canonical establishment of the Parish of the Lord’s Transfiguration, L&S Subdivision, Angeles City, for the glory of God through priestly service of His People.
Wherefore, accordingly withdrawn from the respective Parishes to which they have been previously affiliated, and now constituent of the new Parish of the Lord’s Transfiguration as its jurisdictional territory, the following localities with the People of God therein residing compose the said Parish: from the Holy Rosary Paish, Angeles City- Villa Angela, Villa Dolores, and Palmeras- and from the Sacred Heart Parish, Telabastagan, San Fernando- L&S Subdivision (as the Parochial seat).
Consequently, the said newly established Parish of the Lord’s Transfiguration will be a parish constituent of the Vicariate of the Sacred Heart.
